Mummi täytti viime viikolla 80 vuotta. Sain viime tipassa idean tehdä skräppialbumin, jossa ensimmäinen kuva oli mummin ristiäisistä ja viimeinen viime kesältä. Sivuja tuli yhteensä lopulta melkein 30 enkä olisi urakasta selvinnyt, elleivät vanhemmat olisi etsineet ja skannanneet kuvia. Albumin pienehkö kokokin toki helpotti asiaa huomattavasti. Olipa ihana selata pitkästä aikaa vanhoja valokuva-albumeita ja katsella sellaisiakin kuvia, mitä en aiemmin ole nähnytkään!

My Grandmom celebrated her 80th birthday last week. At the last minute I got an idea to make a scrapbook, where the first picture is from her christening and the last one from the last summer. Finally there were almost 30 pages and I couldn't have handled without my parents, who looked for photos and scanned them. The small size of the album also made the work easier. It was so wonderful to go through old albums and look pictures I've never seen before!

Sivut eivät siis oikeasti ole näin vinossa, oli aika haasteellista saada valokuvattua nuo sivut! Albumin ostin valmiina Sinellistä kun löysin kauniin ruusukantisen version.
The pages really aren't so slant, it was quite challenging to get photos from the pages! I bought the album from a Finnish crafts shop Sinelli, when I found a beautiful rose covered one.
