Osallistuin Tiinan järjestämiin ATC-vaihtoihin aiheella Kesä ja Vintage.
I participated in ATC swaps by Tiina. The subjects were Summer and Vintage.

Kesäkortit olivat kaikki enemmän tai vähemmän tämän näköisiä. Sama hehkeä rouva jäätelönsä kanssa muistelee kesää kaikissa korteissa.

The summer cards were more or less like this. The same fresh lady with her ice cream is remembering the warm summer in all cards.

Vintage-korteissa yhdistelin vanhoja valokuvia ja 1940-luvun nuoren äidin lastenhoito-oppaan tekstejä. Oli kyllä hauska lukea tuota kirjaa: kieli oli välillä aika hassua ja toisaalta myös ohjeet olivat välillä hiukkasen vanhentuneen oloisia.

In vintage cards I used old photos and babycare guide for a yound Mom from 1940's. It was fun to read that book. First, the language was sometimes funny but also the instructions were sometimes, well, a little bit outdated.

Koska tuosta yllä olevasta ei yksityiskohtia näe, niin tässä yksi korteista. Alunperin tuossa kohti puhuttiin juuri pikkulasten uittamisesta.

Because the details cannot be seen from the previous picture, here's one of the cards. This says: "After swimming it's important to dry the body quickly".

Totta tämäkin.

This says: "During hot season you must to wear thinly." True.

Voiko tähän muuta sanoa. :)

And finally: "Air bath effects in two ways. First: it has an important harding effect and second: it affects highly encouraging on metabolism". Could I say more? :)
